THE IMMORAL HINDUISM AND MORALLY STRICT SEMITIC RELIGIONS
Last week a pastor from a Christian sect invited me to participate in a group discussion related to ‘Ghar Wapsi’ (meaning “Home Coming”, a series of re-conversion exercises organized by Indian Hindu organizations)
He said, “My cousin in USA has forwarded me your article “Am I a Hindu?” that explains the liberal and secular values of Hinduism. I am impressed, that’s why I wanted you to come and share your opinion in our meeting…”
“Thank you. But I am sorry, my karma is writing. I neither go for speech nor participate in any organized movements…” I explained my inability.
“Hmmm…People like you should come in the front and protect minority religions…”he said.
“What for? How’s it going to benefit me, my country, my world or the human race?”
“You know our religion profess morality and love…Our brother religion Islam talks about peace…So we have high moral ground than Hinduism which doesn’t have any code of morality or commandments.”

,regards
Respected Uday Sir
You are truly blessed because such clarity of thoughts can only come by your devotion to God and by his grace. In such strong attitude you have explained the greatness of sanatan dharma that we Hindus should be proud of, not because of birth in this religion but because we are given an opportunity to be associated with divine and achieve highest place of eternal happiness. Jai Shri Ram.
Thank you for writing this article.
Sir. your articles are inspiring.hats off to you. Recently I have read an article on ‘Brahmins’ dated 18th Jan, in Telugu news paper ‘Andhra Bhoomi’ and then searched the author name and directed to this site. Thank you so much for posting such an in-depth view point.
Hello Udaylalji,
Thanks for exposing a pastor! I got to know of your article from another blog site http://jayandivakaran.blogspot.in (where I posted the same comment)
Sir, I just wanted to help in the Adam and Eve part of the article.
Genesis 4:1 – And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. 2 And she again bare his brother Abel. (2 boys)
Then Cain kills Abel and gets a punishment – Genesis 4:13 And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me
“every one” – where did they come from ? I do not know myself but I rest on the Holy Spirit of God to reveal it
Genesis 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch
“wife” – now where in the world she comes from ? I do not know myself but I rest on the Holy Spirit of God to reveal it
Then Genesis 4:25 – And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
“wife” – Why is this wife Eve ? Because she said that she got another son instead of Abel (see Genesis 4:1)
Finally, last part of Genesis 4:26 – then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.
“men” – which men and where did they come from ? I do not know myself but I rest on the Holy Spirit of God to reveal it
It will be really nice if you could write a post on the so called “contradictions” in the Bible and point out many more such!
Thank you for your time, Sir,
All your points are just because of one misunderstanding and I probably can help you.
You may probably think Adam and Eve has got only two sons initially and later on one more but that is not the case. Kindly see this Bible verse
This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. 3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. 4 After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died. (Holy Bible, Genesis 5:1-5)
Let me tell you, once you reject the teaching of the Bible, you can never get a better- clearer- truthful account.
respected sir,
one pastor named francis( name i am not sure ) looted the old temple in Mylapore and built churces. sometime back i have read that. he was called “Father” or “Saint”. these people are preaching us. I am proud to be a Hindu
If you are part of any religion or faith, these points must be addressed-
1. Is there any contradiction within or between the religious book that you hold as the guide to the truth?
2. Is there a clear destiny for the humanity?
3. Is there a clear and definite path for eternal bliss?
4. Can there be one God or more than one (if the definition of God can include ‘the greatest’)?
5. Is the God a role model for us to follow in every aspect of our lives?
I have personally discussed through these questions and came to the conclusion that the Bible has the clearest teaching about all these. I am not for Christianity as a denomination, but the true teaching of the Bible and Jesus Christ.
Very good
