With love from Pakistan
“Shri Udaylal Pai ji, I wish I could meet you in person at least once in my life. Love and Regards from a Ram Bhakt from Pakistan.” This is what my Facebook friend Yougal Kishore Rathi posted as a public comment in one of my articles.
I replied to him: “May Lord Ram bless us to meet”
Then he messaged me privately that he is from Hyderabad in Sind Pakistan. He has been reading my articles for a long time. He told me about his family and expressed his love and concern for mine.
I have never been to Pakistan and never felt like going there.
There are reasons to believe the entire Pakistanis are our brothers and sisters. But except few people like Yougul, I don’t know if Pakis can reciprocate the same way.
Because, most of the Pakis are conditioned and brain-washed such a way that they had totally forgotten their glorious great past as civilized Sanatan Dharmis. They don’t know anything about their great ancestors. They are not aware that their land was once so sacred that it was considered as the cradle of all world civilization.
Many parts of Rig Veda were composed in the Punjab region of modern-day Pakistan (and India) on the banks of the Indus River some 7000 years ago! This single information is enough for a Pakistani to keep his head tall in the world! But have they even heard about Rig Veda?
According to Hindu Puranas, Prahladpuri Temple is the place where the Narasimha Avatar happened. This temple, like thousands, was later destroyed by the invaders and the broken pillar is no more. Do you know where the birth place of Prahlada and the temple was?
It was known as ‘Mūlasthān’, which continued as part of the Mauryan and the Gupta empires that ruled India. The city of gold was world famous then for its large and wealthy temples. The Suraj Mandir (Sun temple) was considered as one of the largest and wealthiest temples in the entire sub-continent. Alas, all the temples are destroyed by the barbaric invaders.
The Mulasthan is today known as Multan, in Pakistan.
Agreed, Narasimha is a myth and it represents some symbolisms unknown to us. But what about the historical character Ramachandra, the ruler of Koshala?
Pakistani city of Lahore was first founded by Lava, while Kasur was founded by his twin Kusha, both of whom were the sons of Ramachandra of the Ramayana.
Our ancestors had a huge settlement in Sapta Sindhu like other places all over South Asia (the then Bharat Varsha). The Vedas, Sindhu culture, the richest Hindu traditions of Taxila, Gandhara etc formed in these areas.
Gandhāra (Waihind) is the name of an ancient Mahajanapada, in northern Pakistan (the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and parts of northern Punjab and Kashmir) and eastern Afghanistan. The princess of the country – Gandhari – married to Dhritarashtra, the King of Hastinapur.
The religious beliefs and folklore of the Indus valley people have become a major part of the Hindu faith that evolved in this part of the South Asia.
From seventh century brutal Taliban-type invaders from the Middle East began attacking, looting, killing in the name of conquest for conversions the people in those areas (Afghanistan and Pakistan) whom were living peacefully as followers of Hinduism and Buddhism. The invaders massacred them brutally.
Most wealthy Hindu temples, Buddhist shrines, ancient libraries and architectural and cultural wonders were destroyed by those fanatics.
The vandalism on heritage sites continued and continuing till recently when Taliban annihilated the world’s tallest Buddha statue in Afghanistan few years ago.
“In short, the ancestors of Pakistanis were great and had a universal broader outlook. Lava and Kusha were well known Dharmic kings of ancient times. The geographical area that represents today’s Pakistan was an important part of Bharat Varsha.”
It is from this greatest cultural heritage, Pakistan stooped down in to the level of becoming epicenter of terrorism in the world. Pakistan became the safe haven for criminal kingpins and mafia dons like Dawood Ibrahim, Osama bin Laden, Hafiz Saeed ET el. The country has fallen from grace.
Why? They have cut off from their glorious past civilization which upheld humanism and considered the entire world as a single family (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam). They cut off from the Dharma (righteousness) and Ahimsa (non-violence). Instead, they blindly imitated desert tribal cults in the Middle East.
When a person become blind when he is brain-washed with (any) faith system and his idea of the world changes. Humanism would re-place with mad fanaticism. Religious fanaticism works as an addiction. It is run by clergy mafia. Once you are in, there is no way out. It is spreading live deadly virus all over the world. It killed millions around the world.
The name Pakistan was coined by an Indian named Choudhary Rehmat Ali in 1930s when Mohammed Ali Jinnah wanted a separate country for Muslims by cutting a part of India (The word Pak is derived from Pashto in Persian “Sthan” in Sanskrit means place or land). And they have chosen the most fertile land of India.
At the time of independence, Pakistan did have 22% Hindus and present number is nearly 1.6 %. They consider Hindus as infidels and hence “cleansing” them. There are no minority rights in Pakistan and minorities are treated as second class citizens. It’s the other way around in India.
It’s okay to have any religious beliefs. But beliefs can’t change DNAs. All South Asians have same DNA and from the same ancestry. But Pakistanis are cut from the historical facts and being taught to hate India and Indian as their enemies from their childhood. So how can they see me as their brother?
Yes, I can accept all Pakistanis as my brothers and sisters. But if they consider me as an infidel, that’s unacceptable. I follow Sanatan Dharma in which there is no room for discrimination in the name of caste, creed, race or religion.
Paksitan has a way out. It can teach its real history and science. They should understand the difference between beliefs and facts. Pakistan should understand in case of any emergency, or under any circumstances, Saudi Arabia or any Middle East countries would NOT accept them as refugees. India is the only country that they can depend upon.
Every Paksitani should be taught: “I have changed my belief, but I cannot change my parents.”
Remember – before becoming a religious country it was part of the ONLY secular land in the world. They were following secular, scientific and logical ideology – Sanatan Dharma.
Why should Pakistanis reject their own great history?
